Turing him away, Sidrona sent Dace into the desert for introspection and meditation. This tactic having worked, Dace returned to Sidrona with an new understanding about his study as a Jedi. Sidrona was Dace's teacher for two years afterwards, and eventually Sidrona's son left as a Jedi Knight to the planet of Ossus. Not long after the Jedi called upon Sidrona for his service to the Jedi Knights. His career as a Jedi soon came to an end at the Battle of Basilisk where the Jedi Master Sidrona Diath was slain, and became one with the Force.
